• Fixed bug on backup and restore routine.  User can now backup at the Start -> Program -> Fixed Asset Pro 2001 (or other user chosen name). Prior to this fix, some files remained open at the backup routine and as such are not included in the backup data.  

• Added runtime variables for Fixed Asset Schedule report.  User can now select the Type, Category and range of Asset No to be included in both the detailed and summary report.

• Addition of a master table named Branch.  The system can now cater for companies with branches.

• Three (3) more fields are added in the Update Asset stage.  User can now capture Purchase Order Number, Payment Voucher Number and Captial Equipment Requisition Number.

• Change of date format from 'dd/mm/yyyy' to 'mm/dd/yyyy' as requested by most users.  This applies to all windows, forms and reports.  Please contact us if you still prefer the 'dd/mm/yyyy' format.

• Fixed bug on user network licence.  For now, unsuccessful logon will not be considered or counted as network user that caused problems to the 5-user limit.

• Fixed bug on depreciation calculation that for some instances give rise to negative balance.

• Revised online help and a section on Getting Started has been included to provide guidance for user to 'kick-start' the program.

• Computation of depreciation on straight line method is now based on equal monthly charges
  throughout the asset life span irrespective of date of purchase.  Prior to this, a full year
  depreciation is calculated for the first year.

• The non appearance of account type field in Chart of Account is now rectified.

• Fixed some bugs in Year End Process procedure.  The change of dates to a new year is now
  automatic.
